Leta Both

Petitcodiac

Leta Both grew up in Toronto but considers New Brunswick her true home. She lives in Peticodiac with her husband Kess and five children, Casey, Sally, Kyle, Samantha and Trevor.

She has worked on her family dairy farm as the bookkeeper and later returned to school at the age of 35 to complete her nursing degree.

Leta currently works as a nurse at the Moncton Hospital on the medical and palliative unit and is an active member in the New Brunswick Nurses Union. Leta enjoys playing softball with her women’s league and has volunteered her time for the Canadian Diabetic Association and volunteered over 2000 hours with St John Ambulance in Petitcodiac.

She is running as the NDP candidate in Petitcodiac.

"I have first-hand experience in the healthcare system and we must talk about it in this election.  I know the system cannot sustain the cuts that the Conservatives and Liberals will make if we’re not fiscally responsible. I believe the NDP is the only party that is truly committed to protecting our essential frontline services."
