HEALTHY

Better hospitals with more frontline workers, fewer managers. We have to be creative as our population ages and demands increase. But it’s clear our system needs more doctors and nurses, and fewer consultants, managers, and bureaucrats.

FAIR

Adult literacy and a helping hand to get people back into work. It’s in our interests to make sure everyone who can work has a job. That means we give people the skills they need so they can become a productive part of a new New Brunswick.

SMART

School standards must increase: our kids are our future. We’ve let the battle over immersion hide the fact that our schools are not performing. We need to find out what good teachers and good schools are doing right and give those lessons the chance to be repeated across the province.

RICH

We want a prosperous province where people who work hard can reach their dreams. That means sensible economic management, fair taxes; programs to make it easier for anyone to start their own business, not protection for big business.

GREEN

Green technology, energy efficiency: New Brunswick can lead Canada and offer leadership to the world. We can combine new jobs and new industries with innovations to make our paper and forestry sector world class, and earth friendly.

We want what you want.

A government that’s run the same way as New Brunswickers run their homes: carefully, prudently, and within our means. Borrowing to pay for what we need should always be the exception, never the rule.

We want a government that treats people the way New Brunswickers treat each other: with openness, generosity, and with the expectation that everyone will play their part. We offer a government that will put the priority on fairness and efficiency.
